Why is it Important?

By taking just a few minutes to confirm or register your wish to be a donor at the time of your death, you can potentially save 8 lives through organ donation and heal more than 50 through tissue and eye donation.

Over 100,000 people in the U.S. are waiting for a lifesaving transplant. More than 2,800 are Ohioans!

Tragically, 19 men, women, and children die each day in this country waiting for the Gift of Life. These deaths could be prevented if more people—just like you—made the commitment to become a donor at the time of their death.

Let’s start a new Ohio State tradition! Register as a donor and become a Buckeye for Life!
